Friendly hospitality with a great view

Nice destination in the Allgäu. Easily accessible by bike and on foot. And then there is a garden with good food, game from the region, good and inexpensive.

Very nice and friendly, but I can't understand the hype about the Kässpatzen. We have never been served a casserole dish that was filled with over half of the salad, of bland spaetzle and cheese that you had to look for in it and has little in common with the description and the pictures on the website. Maybe we (as well as others from the excursion tour with the Marktbähnle) were unlucky that day. It's just a shame that you don't get a reaction after a friendly comment. So it doesn't matter if you say something. That is also the reason why I am rating here. For almost € 14, I expect a little more than a salad plate with a few dry spaetzle. That was far from the "best Kässpatzen in the whole country".

We were served very courteously, the waiter was extremely attentive and professional, and the food was excellent. We were really served as guests of the house! And that at the end of a particularly difficult season. Thank you very much, we'll be back soon!

Great, the food is absolutely good, the friendliness heartwarming. Everyone is very friendly, accommodating and warm. I like being here.

Today we went hiking on the Fellhorn and stopped at the Gasthof Laiter on the way back. The service was very nice and courteous. Our dog is welcome. The food is gigantic. Mega tender meat with spaetzle. You can taste that everything was homemade. I strongly recommend this guest house if you are already on holiday in the Upper Allgäu. We will be back.

From June 26th to June 28th, 2020 I was with a friend in the Laiter guesthouse, we were greeted very nicely, the room (north room) was clean and cute. Breakfast was very, very tasty and fresh. On Saturday morning (6:00 a.m.) we happened to get an alpine lift, it was very impressive!

Only today we visited the Gasthof Laiter for the first time. Sadly right now. Beautiful location, very, very nice service .... and here I have eaten the best cheese spaetzle that I have had on my plate in the 20 years we have been guests here. Delicious. It was not the last time we were there!

The Laiter is a beautiful inn run by a warm family. You can have a good time either in the cozy dining room or on the sun terrace with a great view. The food is really good and the price-performance ratio is right. Kasspatzen, game or trout, everything is great! The Laiter is definitely worth a visit. We come here at least once every vacation, usually more often 😊

A beautiful corner, in the very south of Germany. Great hosts and great food. Everything you need to enjoy can be found here. A great tip!
